A man was shot in the leg on the Palmetto Expressway in Miami-Dade early Tuesday morning.
Police confirm a man was shot westbound on the Palmetto Expressway at northwest 47th Avenue around 5:30 a.m.
The man was transported to Aventura Hospital, authorities say.
Officials have reopened the Palmetto westbound exit at northwest 47th Avenue following the overnight shooting.
