Police are searching for a suspect they say is responsible for a string of package thefts at homes in Miami Shores.
The suspect is responsible for at least five thefts, including one on July 24 and four on July 26, Miami Shores Police said in a news release Monday. All of the thefts happened in the early afternoon, and the suspect even hit the same address on Northeast 104th Street twice, police said.
Surveillance images and footage showed the suspect swiping packages from the front porches of homes in broad daylight.
The thefts happened shortly after each package was delivered, and police said it's possible the suspect is following delivery trucks. Police said the suspect was driving a black Mazda CX-7 or CX-9.
