When a VW bug slams into a bus window, it's going to take more than a windshield wiper to clean up.
Six people were rushed to the hospital, including three children, after a Volkswagon Beetle collided with a county transit bus Tuesday.
The accident happened around 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of Miller Drive and 152nd Avenue in Miami-Dade.
The small Volkswagon was carrying an adult and three children. Six people on the bus were also injured.
None of the injuries are expected to be life-threatening, which is a pleasant surprise considering what usually happens when a bug meets a bus.
The silver beetle was mangled after the collision and the bus' windshielf was shattered. Police are investigating to determine which driver was at fault in the accident.
