A celebrity barber who boats singer Flo Rida among his clients had $160,000 in jewelry stolen from him at gunpoint in Miami Beach early Tuesday.
Leonard Lopez, 36, was robbed just before 2 a.m. in the area of 15th Street and Drexel Avenue, according to a Miami Beach Police report.
The report said Lopez was walking down the street when he was approached by two men in a Toyota Camry who asked for directions to Mokai Lounge. He gave them the directions but they wanted him to enter them into a phone, the report said.
As Lopez approached the car, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and grabbed his chain. "Give me all your s--t," the thief said, according to the report.
Lopez handed over a platinum diamond chain worth about $100,000, a gold Audemars Piguet watch worth $50,000, a gold ring with diamonds worth about $10,000, and his $300 wallet, the report said.
Lopez was able to flag down some officers nearby but the suspects had fled the scene.
