A team of UCF computer science students won a nationwide cyber defense competition for a third year in a row.
UCF's Collegiate Cyber Defense Club last week won the 2016 National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition in San Antonio.
During the three-day competition, students managed a computer network as the fended off cyber-attacks modeled on real-world scenarios.
More than 180 college and university teams competed for the championship.
The competition is sponsored by Raytheon, and the student winners typically get internships or job offers from the company.
