Police have released the names of the victims of a deadly pedestrian crash outside Marlins Park.

Esther Terrero de Diaz, 53, Franklin Diaz, 14, and Adriana Diaz, 13 were killed after they were struck by an out-of-control red mini-van on NW 7th Street, Miami Police said Monday.

They and Raul Ortega Arias, 67, of Miami – the driver of the 2006 Dodge Caravan who lost control and collided into a building on NW 7th Street and NW 17th Avenue – died shortly after they arrived at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center Saturday night, police said.

The fourth pedestrian struck, Magdeline Diaz, 10, is in critical condition at Ryder Trauma Center, police said.

Grandmother Esther Diaz and Franklin and Magdeline Diaz were visiting from Lawrenceville, Georgia, while Adriana Diaz lives in the Dominican Republic, according to police. They were among a group of six pedestrians that were walking back to their parked car after leaving the Marlins game when the crash occurred at about 7:30 Saturday night.

It appeared the driver might have had a heart attack or some type of medical condition when he lost control, witnesses said.

Police said they continue to investigate.
