Police are searching for a pair of thieves who were caught on camera ransacking cars in South Miami and may be responsible for other burglaries.
The latest burglary happened at a home on Southwest 78th Street near 68th Avenue between 11:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. on April 3. The suspects were able to steal property and money out of the car.
Police released video of the suspects on the same night buying cigarettes at a nearby convenience store. Several neighbors have complained of similar burglaries in the area.
South Miami Police Det. Fernando Bosch recommended residents keep their cars locked, avoid leaving property like laptops, wallets or cell phones inside and park in illuminated areas.
