Sketch Released in Deadly Miami Gardens Shooting

Police in Miami Gardens have released a sketch of a person of interest in a deadly shooting outside a Checkers Restaurant last month.

Mark Constantine, a father of three, was gunned down outside the Checkers window near 181st Street and Northwest Second Avenue around 2 a.m., April 15.

Police say Constantine was visiting a friend at the restaurant when a fight broke out between he and his killer.

Detectives said Constantine got in his car to leave, and moments after pulling out of the parking lot he was gunned down.

Employees at Checkers hit the panic button. Constantine died in the street right next to his car.

Police are looking for a black pickup truck that left the crime scene. They believe it may have been driven by the suspect.

They also say the man in the sketch may have altered his appearance by cutting off his braids.

If you have any information that could help investigators, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.

There is a $3,000 reward for info that leads to an arrest.
