Police Investigating How Boy on Bicycle Died in Pembroke Pines

A teenage boy initially thought to have been fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver while riding his bicycle in Pembroke Pines is believed to have been killed after crashing his bike, authorities said Tuesday. The boy, identified as 14-year-old Bora Duz, was riding his bicycle in the 1900 block of Northwest 196th Avenue around 8 p.m. Monday when the crash happened.
