Wall at Collapse Site Prompting Concern

All that is left to see of Champlain Towers South is below ground level: a concrete slab and a few remnants of underground garage surrounded by a nine-foot-high wall. But before Collins Avenue can reopen fully, Surfside’s engineering consultant is warning that wall needs to be shored up. NBC 6’s Tony Pipitone found that call for concern is delaying the opening of the road.
