Young Woman Shot and Killed in Northwest Miami-Dade

Police are investigating after a young woman was shot and killed in front of her home in northwest Miami-Dade late Thursday night. The shooting happened in the 2400 block of Northwest 84th Street in West Little River before midnight. Family members said 24-year-old Precious Denise Jackson was just returning home after working a manager’s shift at Checker’s when she was gunned down.
