It was another mild start Thursday in South Florida, with temperatures in the mid 60s to low 70s.
We will warm quickly to the low 80s Thursday afternoon. Expect plenty of sunshine and southeast winds at 10-15 mph by this afternoon.
Thursday should be the last warm day before some of the coolest temperatures of the season move into the area. A strong cold front will make its way through South Florida during the overnight hours, bringing a stray shower or two.
Temperatures will be around 70 Friday morning, then falling through the day. We will wake up with temps in the 40s on Saturday morning, with highs only in the upper 60s Saturday afternoon.
We will gradually warm through the weekend, with temperatures close to 80 already by Christmas Day.
