VeritageMiami Hosts a Four-Day Food Extravaganza

A host of Latin chefs will participate in this year's VeritageMiami, a four-day food, wine and spirits extravaganza that includes a Craft Bear Tasting, Fine Wine event, Interactive Dinner and fancy feast on the Diamond at Marlins Park- all to benefit the United Way.  

The dining celebrations begin with the Craft beer tasting at the vibrant Wynwood Walls on Wednesday, April 9, where guests will  mingle among the  murals, the perfect back-drop for tasting bites from local restaurants such as Wynwood Kitchen & Bar, OTC, and The Embassy, that will be paired with beers and micro-brews from over 100 breweries including local favorites Wynwood Brewing Company, Gravity Brewlab, Michael’s Genuine Home Brew, Miami Brewing Company, among others.

Thursday’s Fine Wine event will feature more than 350 wines from wineries such as Château D'Esclans, Ferrari-Carano Vineyards and Winery, Santa Carolina.  Bites will be provided by some of Miami’s most celebrated restaurants such as Dolce Italian at the Gale Hotel, UVaggio, Pascal’s on Ponce, and Truluck’s. 
 
Friday night's Interactive Dinner will take place at the InterContinental Miami featuring five of Miami’s most talented chefs -all of whom are masters at incorporating Latin flair in their dishes. Jose Mendin of The Pubbelly Restaurant Group, Todd Erickson of HaVen South Beach and Huahua’s Taqueria, Giorgio Rapicavoli of Eating House, Cesar Zapata of The Federal Food, Drink & Provisions and Alberto Cabrera of Bread + Butter are a tour de force in Miami's culinary scene, sure to delight foodies at this exciting dinner. A cocktail reception  by Bacardi will starts the  night off in style at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at  7:30 p.m.
 
VeritageMiami's closing event, on Saturday,  April 12, Dinner on the Diamond, will give guests  the chance to dine on the actual field at Marlins park. Aside from bragging rights, attendees will enjoy a “Warm-Up” – cocktail reception and silent auction in the Marlins Park Skyline Terrace.
