Craft Brews and Bites at Devon

Our favorite steakhouse in the South Miami area, Devon Seafood + Steak will host a special evening of Craft Brews & Bites on Tuesday, September 24, from 7 – 9 p.m., on its beautiful outdoor patio.  As part of its monthly tasting series, the critically-acclaimed seafood and steakhouse will offer its loyal patrons and welcomed newcomers a unique four-course, craft beer pairing dinner for just $30 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Deliciously created by executive chef Scott Barrow, the menu, with beer pairing, will include a selection of seafood, beef, scrumptious sides and dessert. This is the first of the monthly craft beer dinners. A Night on the RunWade
 
Three-time  Miami HEAT Champion Dwyane Wade will host a fashion fundraiser: A Night on the RunWade presented by Neiman Marcus, to benefit his Wade’s World Foundation on Thursday, September 26, from 6:30-10:30 pm at the Moore Building (191 NE 40th Street).  The evening will include a fashion show presented by Hublot featuring looks from Neiman Marcus Coral Gables and will be emceed by fashion correspondent Jill Martin and Deco Drive’s Louis Aguirre.  There will also be a cocktail reception, live entertainment, silent and live auctions and music by DJ Irie- so bring your dancing shoes!  Various ticket options and packages are available, starting at $425 per ticket. Hispanic Heritage Celebration at Miami International Mall
 
Hispanic culture and fall fashion will be the focus of the Miami International Mall's (1455 NW 107 Avenue) Ninth Annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration created in partnership with the City of Doral.  The community will experience the diverse cultures and flavors of various Latin American countries through colorful, energetic fashion shows and interactive entertainment as local leaders are recognized during the Hispanic Star Awards.  On Friday, September 27, Miami International Mall will kick-off the Hispanic Heritage Celebration with the “Noche de Honor” Charity Reception with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Live Like Bella Foundation and the Simon Youth Foundation.  The evening will begin with a champagne reception at 6 pm followed by the announcement of the Hispanic Star Award honorees.  Each nominee will be recognized for their selfless contributions to their community and will culminate with a runway fashion show at 7 pm at Macy’s women’s court. The “Noche de Honor” portion of the event is by invitation-only, but everyone is welcome to view the runway show from the mall’s common areas.  On Saturday, September 28, the Hispanic Heritage Celebration continues at the mall from 12:30 – 5 pm with weekend festivities including authentic folkloric music and dance performances, live entertainment and a spirited parade of native dresses from South America, Central America and the Caribbean presented by the City of Doral.  All the activities on Saturday are complimentary and open to the public.
