Miami-Dade Police asked for the public's help Tuesday in locating a man wanted in connection with unlawful sexual conduct with a 12-year-old female.
Paul Michael Mira, 29, was employed as the athletic director of Archimedean Middle and Upper Conservatory in Miami where he allegedly used his position to engage in the unlawful conduct, police said.
Mira has told his relatives that he will commit suicide before the police can arrest him, authorities said.
Mira is described as a white, 5-foot-2-inch man weighing 160 pounds. He drives a 2004 white Chrysler Crossfire.
"Archimedean Schools has suspended the teacher with pay until the conclusion of the Police investigation. We are waiting for the conclusion of the investigation," said Dr. George Kafkoulis, of the Archimedean Schools, in an email statement.
