Miami-Dade Launches Transit Tracker iPhone App

Miami-Dade County launched a transit track iPhone app on Thursday.

For anyone who wants who wants to know the Miami-Dade bus schedule or plan a transit trip, there is now a iPhone app for that.

Miami-Dade County launched a transit track app on Thursday, which allows users to access real-time Metrorail train arrivals, as well as track the locations of the trains.

App users can also locate bus stops, view fare information and plan a trip using Google.

"This isn't just to help current riders. Tourists and residents interested in switching over to public transit may feel more comfortable with an app that can guide them throughout Miami-Dade anywhere they need to go," said Miami-Dade County Commissioner Joe Martinez.
