1 Killed, 6 Hospitalized in Miami Car Crash

One person died and six others were rushed to the hospital Sunday afternoon after two vehicles collided in Miami, according to Miami Fire Rescue spokesperson Ignatius Carroll.

Miami Fire-Rescue responded to the intersection of Southwest 17th Street and 25th Avenue after two vehicles collided around 2 p.m.

Firefighters treated and transported six patients, two females and four males, to Ryder Trauma Center with serious injuries.

Officials say the driver of one vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. All patients were between the ages of 25 to 35 years of age.

Miami Police traffic homicide unit is investigating.
