Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said one person has been killed in an accident between two buses near the intersection of 32nd Avenue and NW 79th Street.
According to Miami-Dade Police, a bus driver had parked her bus and was getting off when she started walking. She quickly noticed the bus started to roll forward and she ran alongside the bus to try to stop it from the driver’s side window.
Police said she was hit by the front tire of the bus and the bus ran her over. A second bus was at the scene, but police said it pulled off to try to help and wasn’t involved in the accident.
