A man was fatally wounded when gunfire broke out at a nightclub in Miami.
The incident began around 6:45 a.m., at El Nuevo Patio and Lounge, located at the corner of NW 19th Avenue and 21st Street, where an altercation turned into an exchange of gunfire.
Leonardo Perera, 34, was struck by the gunfire and tried to flee. Perera later collapsed about a block from the restaurant.
He was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center where he later died.
Authorities are currently investigating and asking for witnesses to provide more information.
