A Miami-Dade judge reduced Torres' bond from $115,000 to $30,000 while placing him on house arrest as he appeared in court Thursday.

Torres' attorney, Michael Becker, said his client was born and raised in Miami and has never been in trouble before.

Torres was arrested after sources informed police that child pornography images were being sent by an unknown email, according to the arrest report.

The email account registered to Torres’s residence in Kendall. When police searched his residence and his bedroom, they found various images of child pornography, the arrest report said.
