Body Found in Trash May Be Dead Kids' Mother

Police say woman found in December might be missing mom of kids found in a canal

An already gory story may have become more gruesome after authorities confirmed a body found in a dumpster might be the mother of the two children that were found in luggage floating in a canal earlier this week.

Felecia Brown has been missing since the bodies were found in a Delray Beach canal, but police think now they may know why.

In August, a woman's body was found in some trash and police said Friday that it is somehow linked to the two children.

Police did not confirm that the woman was Brown, but at a press conference, police spokeswoman said dtectives believe the dead are Brown and her two children, Jermain McNeil and JuTyra Allen.

Police have named 34-year-old Clem Beauchamp as a suspect in the case and he is currently being held in federal custody on unrelated charges after being questioned by police Thursday evening.

Investigators have been searching the man's house and have removed several cars from the home and been digging in the back yard.

Beauchamp and Brown had a romantic relationship but broke up months ago, the Palm Beach Post reported.

Beauchamp allegedly has fathered children from several women. Police said that his other three children are in the custody of the Department of Children and Families.

The body found in the landfill had the names "Jermaine" and "JuTyra" tattooed on the left calf of the female body.

On Wednesday, two separate pieces of luggage floated to the surface in a canal behind a quiet neighborhood. In one suitcase was the body of a 6 to 10-year-old girl and the other contained a boy between the age of 10 and 12 stuffed in a duffel bag.

Police think the children were siblings.
