Police are looking for a man they say shot a clerk at a check cashing store at a Miami Gardens strip mall in broad daylight Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened around 10:30 a.m. at the business at 2675 Northwest 207th St., a Miami Gardens Police spokesman said.
The victim was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Police said he was conscious and talking but have not said where or how many times he was hit and what his condition was.
The suspect, described as a black male wearing dark clothing fled the scene on foot. The motive behind the shooting is unknown.
