Anything you read today should be taken with a grain of salt. Still, plenty of people are falling for some of these April Fools jokes. Here are just a few brands having fun with April Fools' Day:
Samsung's Smart Knife
The Galaxy Blade claims to be the world's first knife with smartphone capabilities. It even has finger detection mechanisms that prevent it from cutting human skin, along with literal anti-virus protection to alert you whenever unwanted germs (or, blood?) enter your food.
Virgin Headquarters Moving to Branson, Mo.
Never one to miss out on a good joke, Sir Richard Branson claimed on his company blog to have discovered his "long-lost relations in the great city of Branson, Missouri" and plans to not only move the company's headquarters there... he'll throw in a luxury property offering guests exclusive wagon trails. Nice!
Google Panda
Oh, how we wish this one was real! In a video posted to Google Japan's YouTube channel, the adorable Google Panda claims to be "so brilliant, you can ask it anything" and "so cute, you're going to want to hug it." In true Google fashion, the fluffy Google Panda is available in the "compact" Google Panda 5 and larger Google Panda 6.
