Man Charged With Triple Murder Arrested Again

Belizaire was arrested during a traffic stop for carrying a concealed firearm.

The man who was released from jail after being charged in a Lauderdale Lakes triple-murder was arrested again on weapons charges, according to Miami-Dade Police.

Lineten Belizaire, 21, was arrested Thursday night by the Miami-Dade Police Department’s Robbery Intervention Detail detectives. He faces a charge of carrying a concealed firearm and is being held on $5,000 bond.

The black and silver semiautomatic Ruger 9 mm firearm was discovered by an officer during a traffic stop. The officer said Belizaire was “nervous and worried upon my [his] contact,” according to an arrest form.

When the officer asked if there were any weapons in the car, Belizaire said “No, officer. You can check if you like,” the report said.

Police said the Ruger was sticking out of the passenger seat “accessible to the defendant for his use.”

Belizaire said he had been in possession of the vehicle the entire day and refused to talk about the gun, according to the report.

In January, Belizaire was arrested and charged in the murder of two women and a 6-month-old baby in Lauderdale Lakes.

He was released earlier this month after a grand jury decided not to indict him.
