Two suspicious packages caused the evacuation of the Miami Police Department’s main headquarters for almost two hours.
The department sent out a tweet announcing the evacuation shortly after 10 AM, affecting their main building downtown off NW 2nd Avenue. Bomb squad crews have were called in and officials urged people to stay away from the area.
Officials detonated the device before giving the all clear that people could return inside.
