A multi-vehicle crash in Lake Worth left at least seven people injured Saturday afternoon, officials said.
The crash closed down the southbound lane on the Florida turnpike in Lake Worth, the Palm Beach Post reported.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, four cars were involved in the crash. Though officials did not say what caused the crash, they said the incident happened while it was raining heavily.
One of the women seriously injured was struck by a car as she exited her vehicle, the newspaper said.
