New Potential Tropical Cyclone Develops Off the S.E. Coast

After tracking “92L” for several days across the Atlantic, over Florida, and now off the Southeast Coast, the National Hurricane Center has designated the disturbance as “Potential Tropical Cyclone Ten.”

Located just east of the Georgia coastline, this system has the potential to strengthen to a named storm in the next day or two.

The next name on the list for the 2017 Atlantic season is “Irma.”
