No one was injured after a Brightline train crashed into an unoccupied car in Hallandale Beach early Wednesday morning.
Chopper footage over the scene showed the high speed train crashed into the vehicle with fire rescue crews working to put out a fire at the scene near the intersection of Pembroke Road and North Dixie Highway.
According to officials, a woman was driving when she turned onto the tracks by mistake around 7:30 a.m. before getting out of the car and calling 911 ahead of the train's impact.
The train struck the car and pushed it about 500 feet, officials said.
Slight delays were reported with one lane being closed in each direction as crews investigated the crash. Passengers were placed on another Brightline train.

The train, which currently runs between Miami and West Palm Beach with expansions planned to locations as far north as Orlando, has been in the spotlight after four people have been struck or killed since service first began in May.
