Police are searching for a robber who tried to steal 10 bottles of Nyquil from a Miami 7-Eleven store.

The strong arm robbery happened around 10 a.m. Tuesday at the store at 95 Southeast 9th Street when the suspect entered and placed the Nyquil in a bag and walked out, pushing an employee out of the way, police said.

The employee followed the suspect out of the store and a struggle ensued. The suspect released his hold on the bag and fled on foot, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9, 150 to 170 pounds with short brown hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
