Pastor Arrested for Sexually Assaulting Church Member

A Miami pastor is behind bars after being accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl in her home.

Jerome Dieuseul, 64, was arrested Thursday and charged with sexual assault on a minor.

According to police, the pastor at South Florida Baptist Church was visiting the girl's home on Sept. 18 when he allegedly attacked her. The family is a member of the Baptist church.

It's unclear if anyone else was at the home or what Dieuseul did to the girl.

Months went by before the girl told a friend, which led to authorities getting involved.
