Estranged Husband Of Missing Miramar Woman Hopeful She Will Come Home: Attorney
The man named a person of interest in the disappearance of his estranged wife is hopeful she will come home and be with their children, his attorney told NBC 6 on Thursday. "He says he?s innocent. He had nothing to do with her disappearance and he?s hopeful she?ll come home and be with the children and put the family back together," said Cid Torrez?s attorney Richard Della Fera. Vilet Torrez went missing on March 30.
Police Seek DNA From Husband of Missing Miramar Woman
Police said they are seeking DNA samples and fingerprints from the estranged husband of a Miramar woman who went missing last month. Miramar Police spokeswoman Tania Rues said Wednesday that though Cid Torrez has been classified as a person of interest, that "does not necessarily mean detectives have ruled everyone else out."
Pembroke Pines Police said they are looking for a missing 34-year-old woman who was last seen in her bedroom at about 2 p.m. Monday afternoon.
Sharaba Grannum-Miles was last seen in her apartment on Southwest 110th Lane by her grandmother, about three hours before she posted threats to harm herself on Facebook, police said.
She is 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds, has short black hair in a ponytail, brown eyes, and was wearing pajamas Monday afternoon, police said.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office aviation unit and a K-9 aided in the initial search of surrounding areas Monday, police said.
