A clerk at a MIami Gardens Family Dollar saw someone go from customer to crook last week.

    A brazen burglar in Miami Gardens told a clerk he was ready to kill when he robbed a Family Dollar on the 2800 block of NW 183rd Street on April 16.

    According to Miami Gardens Police, the suspect was being helped with a purchase and when the cash register opened, possibly pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the register.

    Miami Gardens Police said the suspect told the clerk, “Don’t make it hard for yourself, I will *expletive* kill you.”

    Surveillance videos showed the suspect then jumping over the counter and grabbing an undisclosed amount of money from the register before running from the store.
