The Waco model plane crashed in shallow water near Marathon Airport at 2:35 p.m., Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said.

The plane’s three occupants were treated on the scene and declined to be taken to the hospital, according to the sheriff’s office.

The single-engine biplane was built in 1989, online records show.
