    Two people who were shot in the chest were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Friday night, Coral Springs Police said. A man is also in custody after he left the apartment at 10554 W. Sample Road and turned himself in, police said. A woman, who did not want to be identified, told NBC 6 South Florida that she saw a boy being carried in the midst of the incident. (Published Saturday, Nov 3, 2012)

    Two people who were shot in the chest were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Friday night, Coral Springs Police said.

    A man is also in custody after he left the apartment at 10554 W. Sample Road and turned himself in, police said.

    Police said they responded to the apartment complex at about 8:30 p.m. after getting a 911 call about a domestic dispute. Neighbors subsequently reported gunshots.

    Police said they drove through a gate outside the complex as they responded to the incident.

    A woman came out stumbling and falling on the sidewalk, and then a man came out holding a 5-year-old boy in his arms, they said.
