Morning sunshine will lead to afternoon showers, with highs at 91. NBC6 meteorologist Ryan Phillips has the forecast.

A dry morning will give way to afternoon showers Friday.

Temperatures were in the mid to upper 70s in the morning hours, but highs will reach 91.

Scattered thunderstorms will make their way over South Florida in the afternoon, with a 50 percent chance of rain Friday and Saturday.

Sunday will be the rainiest day, with a 60 percent chance of rain. Through the weekend, shower and storm chances will be highest in the afternoon hours, so the best time to be outside will be in the morning.

Rain chances will decrease throughout the week, with a 30 percent chance of rain on July Fourth. Highs will remain at about 90 degrees all week.
