    Storms were expected throughout the day, but  were forecast to let up by night. The temperatures were starting out in the mid-60s, as part of a cold front that will be tracking to the east through the state on Friday. The high for teh day was expected to reach 79 degrees.

    But sunshine expected for the weekend with slightly cooler temperatures and lower humidity.
