Police are investigating after a woman was carjacked at gunpoint at the parking lot of a Miramar Walmart Thursday morning.

The carjacking happened around 6:45 a.m. at the store at 1800 University Drive, Miramar Police officials said.

The woman told officers she was approached by two suspects who demanded her purse and car keys. She didn't resist and handed them over, and the suspects fled in the car, police said.

At least one of the suspects was armed, but no shots were fired and no one was injured.

Police are looking for the suspects and anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
