One Florida State University football player gave his biggest fan a reason to burst into tears of joy.
Sophomore quarterback Deondre Francois surprised his biggest fan – and possibly the youngest – during his lunch hour on campus at an Orlando-area elementary school.
“I want y’all to meet my biggest fan, Justin, who is a first grader at Metro West Elementary School, was in shock today when I surprised him at lunch time,” Francois said in an Instagram post with photos and video of the heartfelt moment.
Justin appears noticeably antsy in the video moments before Francois approached him from behind while sitting at the lunch table.
As Francois wrapped his arm around his giggling little fan, Justin shrieked in excitement and covered his face as he realized his football-playing hero was sitting right next to him.
Still covering his face, the joyful tears began to well up in his eyes as Francois stated "it’s all love."
“This is a moment that he will never forget and I’m glad I could make his day.”
Francios was deemed one of the top freshman quarterbacks in the country and was named ACC Rookie of the Week four times, as well as ACC Rookie of the Year.
