Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez has made a friendly wager with San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro on who they believe will be the next NBA Champion.

If the Miami Heat win the NBA Championship, Mayor Castro has to send some of San Antonio’s finest food from Chef Johnny Hernandez down to Miami-Dade County.

If the San Antionio Spurs win, Mayor Gimenez will send South Florida's famous Joe's Stone Crabs to San Antonio.

"Although I'd enjoy sharing delicious stone crabs with my friend Mayor Castro, I expect our Miami Heat 3-peat. I'm looking forward receiving the delicious food Mayor Castro will be shipping from San Antonio,” Gimenez said.

Mayor Castro responded saying, "As much as I want Mayor Gimenez to taste Chef Johnny Hernandez's wonderful food, the Spurs will win their fifth NBA title this year."

The Miami Heat will face San Antonio in game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday at the AT&T center in San Antonio.
