Two Floridians Found Hiding Crack Pipes in their Bodies: Cops

Two Florida residents were found hiding crack pipes in their bodies, authorities said.

Two Floridians were caught hiding crack pipes in their bodies last month after being arrested in two separate incidents, authorities said.

Jail X-rays taken Aug. 16 showed Oliver Johnson, 46, had swallowed his crack pipe, Fort Pierce police said. He had been arrested for possession of crack cocaine on Aug. 1.

When authorities confronted him, he tried to throw something under a car and then tried hiding something underneath his hat, the arrest report said. Police were able to take what was in his hat, which later tested positive for crack cocaine, according to the arrest report.

Johnson was arrested and taken to the St. Lucie County jail, where he said he was not hiding any illicit drugs, authorities said.

But a subsequent X-ray showed a crack pipe lodged in the stomach horizontally, the police report said. Johnson was taken to the hospital to have the pipe removed, police said.

It wasn’t immediately known if he had an attorney.

In another incident on Aug. 14, jail officials strip searching Amanda Goss of Vero Beach found a cocaine pipe hidden in the woman's vagina, according to the Indian River County Sheriff's Office.

Goss, 30, was arrested after officers responded to a trespassing complaint at a local Walgreens, the arrest report said.

She told officers she did not have any drugs on her, but the strip search showed otherwise, authorities said.

It wasn’t immediately known if she had an attorney.
