Steve Litz
Steve Litz joined NBC 6 in October 2007 as a general assignment reporter. He is the station's political reporter. Having grown up in Miami Beach, Litz loves driving around his ‘hometown’ reporting on significant news events.
Before joining NBC 6, Litz spent about ten years covering politics, education and general news for WSOC-TV in Charlotte, NC. Other cities on his TV tour include a one-year stint in Akron, OH and two years in Dayton. Litz’s broadcasting career started in radio at WINZ-AM in Miami.
A graduate of Georgia State University, Litz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. When not on the job, he likes to watch the news and spend as much time outside as possible.
