1/7: Take a Road Trip

PBS at the Wolfsonian, Emilio at the Eden Roc and cheap drinks at Fratelli Lyon

LINCOLN LOG: You love a "Jersey Shore" marathon as much as the next person. But you're also a sucker for a good PBS documentary. Unleash your inner nerd with a free screening of "A Ride Along Lincoln Highway," a documentary about the first paved coast-to-coast highway, at The Wolfsonian. 7 P.M.

MIAMI BOOK MACHINE: Ah, the American Dream. Where anyone can become a multi-million dollar music producer, own a mansion on Star Island and own part of an NFL football team. At least that's Emilio Estefan American Dream story, and he has put it all in his autobiography, "The Rhythm of Success." Help him celebrate its release tonight at the Eden Roc. RSVP to edenrockmiami@thepattongroupinc.com. 8-10 P.M.

JUST SAY MILANO: Happy Hour is usually more about the price than your palate. Class up everyone's favorite after-work event by checking out Fratelli Lyon's Apertivo Milano. Get there at 6 p.m. and pay $6 for specialty cocktails, at 7 p.m. it's $7. Also available are $6 Piccolos (or $15 for three) as well as complimentary antipasti. 5-7:30 P.M.
