Whether they are running errands, shopping at the mall, hanging out or hitting the gym, plenty of South Florida gals are turning to Victoria’s Secret’s PINK label to keep them looking cute and comfy.
The label, which was launched four years ago to target college girls, has become an all-age favorite in Miami.
Everyone from tweens to grandmothers are rocking PINK, which consists of everything from flirty undergarments to casual apparel to girly accessories and shoes.
Weschester resident and grandma Jeannine Veitia, 54, loves the label’s flip-flops and sweatpants.
“I don’t care that it’s for the younger crowd. I find the sweatpants really comfortable and they look nice when I want to relax on the weekends,” said Veitia, whose 28-year-old daughter also wears the brand.
West Miami teen Samantha Aracely and her BFF Patty Rizzo are huge fans of PINK and like to do their shopping at the PINK store in Dolphin Mall.
“I buy everything at the store,” said Aracely, 14. “I have a pair of sandals with peace signs and I wear them all the time because they are very cute and in style.”
Rizzo,14, a Doral resident said she likes the sweatpants the best and thinks the store caters to women of all ages.
“It's not only for teens. The merchandise suits anyone and the quality can really last for a while,” said Rizzo.
Daniela Vidal, who hails from Coral Gables, said she usually goes to Dadeland to buy PINK lotion and perfume, but will drive as far as Aventura Mall to stock up on the brand.
“The store in Aventura has a wider selection,” said the sixteen-year-old.
For South Miami homeowner Christie Acosta Perez-Medrano, 29, it’s all about the label’s underwear.
“I can’t exactly afford Cosabella on my salary, but I love the PINK label,” she said. “I love the thongs, boyshorts and their bikini briefs the most.”
New to the PINK brand, is a full collection of yoga wear, which consists of straight leg, boot cut, flare and cropped pants.
