Say "LCD Soundsystem," and a million quarter-lifed dance-punk lovers will instantly go fetal. While the beloved New York band bowed out in April, never to return, its members can still be worshipped individually at side projects and DJ gigs. Fortunately, we here in Miami didn't have to wait too long for our next dose of DFA Records goodness: LCD's Nancy Whang is headlining one hell of an Art Walk afterparty at Electric Pickle this Saturday night.
Whang won't bring her keyboards, but she is squared away for a DJ set. Local indie dance act Krisp will open up live, and there's a full-on open bar from 10 p.m. to midnight. Will Renuart and DJ Induce warm things up, and what could possibly be hotter than all that for just $10? This your warning to cop those advanced tickets now -- lest you wind up fetal, too.
