What You're Doing Tonight, 3/20

It’s an international invasion on Miami tonight with Canadian music, Colombian designers and a movie called “Gomorrah”

OH CANADA: Those damn Canadians, constantly sneaking across the border. This time the Ontario Brampton Symphony Orchestra will be creeping over with their instruments in tow. See them live at the “Hands Across the Border” RHAPSODY, Concerto…and all that jazz!, concert benefiting the SOBE Music Institute. 8 p.m.

ADD SOME LATIN TO YOUR FASHION: Colombian and Dominican Republican designers spice up the catwalk tonight at Miami Fashion Week. See Belkola, DominicanaModa Best Designer 2008, work her feminine frocks in bold colors and over-the-top shapes. 7 p.m.

SIN CITY: Your mother always equates South Beach to Sodom and Gomorrah, so head over to the Miami Beach Cinematheque and catch the Miami theatrical premiere of “Gomorrah” to see what she means by that. The movie, which was the Cannes 2008 Grand Prix Winner, shows through March 23 and delves into power, money and blood. It’s violent, it’s cruel—just the kind of stuff your mom wouldn’t want you watching.
