What You're Doing Tonight, 7/21

Wine, dinner parties and speed dating shake up your Tuesday night

WINE ME OVER: Meat Market's monthly Wine Dinner series pops off tonight for July, hosting complimenting wines from Nickel & Nickel winery. Guests, who will pay $150-$175 a ticket to get into the event, will receive a five-course dinner of contemporary American cuisine prepared by Chef Sean Brasel, as well as wine, paired by sommelier Gabriel Varela. Money can't buy happiness, but good food and wine can (until the morning, at least). 7 P.M.

GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE: A little birdie once told us that Grass Restaurant and Lounge is the place to be on Tuesday nights. Checking out the décor alone made us believe that it really is. Tonight, the venue hosts Lavish, a weekly R&B dinner party complete with  -- you guessed it -- R&B music to set the mood, as well as drink specials. It doesn't cost anything to get in, but guests must be at least 21+.

WHAT'S YOUR SIGN: We've all heard about the speed dating phenomenon when dating sites started coming onto the scene. If you've never heard of or practiced the art that is speed dating, we suggest you make a night of it tonight at Palm Beach Improv. Not only does it provide for a few great happy hour stories, but you may actually find someone you'd like to go to happy hour with while there. $5 gets you into the speed dating line-up and you can even enjoy a comedy contest while you're there. Either way, there'll be something to laugh about. 6 P.M.
