‘Most Wanted' Broward Fugitive Caught in Miami

Man accused of molesting daughter who was featured on show caught

A Broward fugitive who was featured on "America's Most Wanted" last month and is accused of molesting his young daughter was arrested in Miami late Wednesday night, authorities said.

Fritz Alisme, 39, was arrested in the 1800 block of Northwest 46th Street around 10 p.m., U.S. Marshals spokesman Barry Golden said.

Golden said tips from the public led them to Alisme, who was behind bars Thursday in Broward County's main jail.

Alisme is facing charges of sexual battery on a child and lewd and lascivious molestation on a child under 16 years old, his daughter, in Miramar, authorities said.

Authorities say Alisme, who is originally from Haiti, had been arrested and was out on bond with an ankle bracelet but removed it and went on the run from the law.

Alisme was featured on the Feb. 17 episode of "AMW," Golden said. He's being held without bond and it was unknown whether he has an attorney.
