An early morning shooting in Homestead left one person dead and one person rushed to an area hospital.
Homestead Police arrived at an apartment complex located at 1502 East Mowry Drive, finding two people shot in the area.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second person was airlifted to an area hospital and is listed in extremely critical condition.
Miami-Dade Police said they are investigating the incident as a potential murder-suicide attempt between a boyfriend and girlfriend.
