Miami-Dade Police say a 12-year-old boy who has autism that was reported missing Monday morning has been found safe.
Cory Binelo had been last seen near the Navarro Discount Pharmacy located near Coral Way and Southwest 97th Avenue around 9:38 a.m.
Miami-Dade Police and other agencies spent more than five hours searching for Binelo.
Police later said he was found safe at a friend's house about 25 miles away. No other details were immediately known.
