Two armed, masked suspects invaded a Miami home overnight, breaking into a sleeping woman’s bedroom where one of them sexually assaulted the victim as he demanded money, police said.
The home invasion robbery took place early Tuesday at about 3:10 a.m. at 4133 Northwest 18th Ave., Miami Police said.
The victim said her father-in-law heard a knock on the back door, went to open it – and two male suspects armed with large firearms entered and demanded money, police said in an incident report. Police later said the suspects are both in their 30s
The suspects broke the door to the woman’s bedroom, before one of them put a gun to her head and called her an obscenity as he demanded money, the report said.
The victim said she didn’t have any money, according to the report.
That suspect then fondled her breasts, exposed himself and slapped her face with his private part, she said in an interview with NBC 6. Similar details are also included in the police incident report.
The victim spoke about the case in the hope that the suspects will be apprehended. She also said that she is scared.

Miami Police spokeswoman Freddie Burden said the department’s sexual battery unit will investigate the fondling and sexual assault allegations.
During the home invasion, after the victim again said she did not have any money, the two suspects began to search her bedroom and furniture for money. They did not find any, but did take two televisions as they fled, the report said.
The victim was unable to get a description of the men because they were wearing masks and gloves, according to the report.
She told police that she believed she was followed after she went to a Chase Bank at 7 p.m., the report said.
